How the grid is chosen

The layout follows directly from how many photos are added: two side by side, three in a row, four as a 2×2 grid. Every cell is square, and each photo is cropped — not squashed — to fill its cell completely, keeping the center of the photo and trimming the edges.

Common questions

How is the layout decided?

It's automatic based on how many photos you add: two photos sit side by side, three sit in a row, and four form a 2×2 grid. There's no manual layout picker — the count alone decides it, which keeps the result predictable.

What happens if my photos are different shapes?

Each photo is cropped to fill its square cell completely rather than being squashed or leaving empty space — the same "cover" behavior used by most collage and profile-photo tools. The center of each photo is kept; the edges are what gets trimmed.

Can I reorder the photos?

Not directly, but removing a photo and re-adding it in the order you want achieves the same result, since photos fill the grid in the order they were added.
