What Quezlo is
Quezlo is a small, independently run set of everyday web tools. There are seven of them, each built to do one job properly rather than to act as a free sample of something paid.
How it works
Every calculation on this site happens inside your browser using JavaScript. When you paste an essay into the word counter, encode your phone number into a QR code, or check whether two colours have enough contrast for body text, that work is done on your device. Nothing is transmitted to a server and nothing is stored anywhere we can read.
That has a consequence worth saying plainly: because no server does the work, there is no server bill to recover. This is why every tool is free with no trial period, no feature locks and no daily limit.
It also sets the boundary of what this site can offer. Anything that needs a server — hosting a file behind a QR code, counting how many people scanned it, saving your palettes to an account — sits outside what Quezlo does, and those are exactly the features other sites charge for.
What is here
A QR code generator covering seven code types with logo and size control, a word and character counter with keyword density and readability scoring, a unit converter across eight measurement categories, a colour palette generator with per-colour locking, a WCAG contrast checker, an age calculator, and a date difference calculator with working-day counting.
How it pays for itself
The site is supported by display advertising. That keeps the tools free to use with no paywall and no sign-in wall.
